Newbs in Golden Jan 28-30?

3 of us heading to Golden Jan 28 for 3 days, first time in these parts as we ride primarily in Mcbride.
Couple questions, what areas do you guys recommend this time of year? We are experienced riders and like any terrain, trees, meadows, bowls and climbs.

Also whats a good clean cheap place to stay in town that will accommodate an enclosed trailer? Need hot tub!

Lots of great terrain. Been abit of a drought going on last week. Starting snowing again today.

Gorman is still a little thin. Quartz is big terrain but always lots of riders. Silent pass is a personal favourite but is a bit of a ride in. Just rode hope the other day. Great day.

Stay at the "Sportsman" now called Travelodge. Biggest Parking lot in Golden. $99 rooms sledder rate is $72 has CCTV, most guys can even park in front of there rooms. Also major sled sponsors.
