Hi everyone, new to this site and just wondering if anyone knows of some good places to ride with our 8yr old son. We have been riding at redwater mostly, will probably stay away from Bruderhiem as its to busy. Our son has been riding off and on since he was 6 and we just moved him up to a 90.

Thanks all

You might try the Iron Horse trail since it's not much further for you than Redwater. The trail itself is not that exciting, but the trail is generally very well groomed and is very scenic in spots. There are also opportunities to turn off the trail and explore a bit. If you unload at Smokey Lake and take the trail towards Bellis, you will find a rec area that you could probably spend a few hours exploring. If you do head down the Iron Horse, be sure to bring some fuel with you. Theres a town every 10 or 20km, but many of them do not have gas.

Vega is also a nice spot for family riding and is not too far.

Check out this formum for more info on riding areas.
