New winch-winch guru question

I have an 08 Kodiak that needs a new winch. It had a Warn 2500 in there from birth. I have access to a 3000 Warn for cheap. Will it fit in? Different bolt pattern?

Should fit. Most mounts have a few bolts patterns.

Yep I think it should fit too. Check how much room you have around the old one.

the 2500 and 3000 share the same mounts, the 4500 switches up to a wide spool

it should bolt right in, as stated by imdoo'n the change was in larger winch

Exact same bolt pattern. You can look it up on Warns web site
