hello, just joined, first time on a forum website ever, taken me 2 mins to figure this out.
I was reading some articles on cracked linoleum flooring in RV's and it seems a few ppl from Snow & Mud.com have suffered the same issues and have repaired them themselves. I just found in my RV today the whole floor cracked in 3 spots the whole lenght of floor. Could anyone tell me if they have installed the Home Depot Allure flooring "overtop" of the existing cracked floor or did they remove the cracked lino fisrt.
PS bought two ATV's last year and used them for the first time this summer(newbie at that as well) myself, wife and kids are looking to do some winter ATVing so if any one knows of a great place to go with a group would love to tag along to an adventure close to Edmonton.

I live west of Edmonton out by Alberta beach, we ride sleds and quads in the winter often go out with a whole mix of machines, I haven't been back there in a bit but I will check it out over the holidays and make sure trail is broken for the quads. Dec 27 there is a rally out by alberta beach which will be quads one day sleds another, there is a thread in here about it just search out "alberta beach rally"

Welcome to the site. I have had to replace my lino last spring. Damn cold weather. I used that rubber laminate product they have had out now for a few years. It's cheap, looks awesome, and highly durable....oh and did I mention made it through this cold snap. I highly recommend removing the old lino, that way you won't see any uneven spots from the old crap. It doesn't take that long to remove it. Do it right, then you won't have to worry. Next time if it cracks, and you had just covered the old stuff you'll be removing two layers. Have fun on the site.
