Closed gap only to take some load off of the secondary ign. system. (Coil stator etc.) Trying weights tomorrow Finally days off.

tried new weights today (couldn't yesterday was in the dog house) Went up to 66 gram weights problem still there but not as noticeable Pulled 8000 at 3/4 throttle 7600 to 7700 at wot threw on different belt for sh*ts and giggles 1150 mid range temps and climbing, Wot 850 to 950 held for 1/4 mile (hoped for big explosion followed by fire no such luck!) Pipe temp shouldn't be and issue. Did an old fashion plug check. Pto plug center electrode white tinge on outer edge, bottom of treaded area wet-ish (oil?) possible miss fire. Other wise nice golden brown. :confused: May have to check if crank went out of faze. But shouldn't pto end welded.

390 no altitude compensator here tried lower 350 here polaris calls for 410 at -10. I also thought about fuel pump issues was a pol bulletin about pulse line colapsing and the fuel pump relocation recall. This problem seems so strange run great before with 390 all the same set up just started doing this.Friend of mine also has 03 800 doing exactly the same thing.

What did you change right around the time it started doing it? When you say it ran great before.... before what?

I had he crank go out out end of season 06/07 rode 1 day after rode 3days in 07/08 season pto end came apart. rode wifes new xp mostly think i got 2 days on it runing like it is. Not much fun.

Does anyone know how to or have the chart of how to adjust the suspension of a 2009 Ski Doo Renegade XP?

Might have fixed issue pulling 8150 rpm 1180 to 1200 deg exh temps with 66 gram weights at wot. retarded timing 1.5 Degreees on the stater seems to be ok. May have been pre-detonating? Going to head to the hills Thurs with it and if not ok may be only one of us is coming back!!

Just an update both of us came home sled ran great with the ign timing retarded pulled 8100 rpm all day.

I have the same problem with my 03 Vertical Escape. Piped, port & polished. Clutch's redone, drop and rolled, air box gutted. Work's great in the parking lot, 8200 rpm. Get up top and it drops to 7600 rpm. Temp stay,s the same at 1250 to 1300 degrees. Changed weight's in sec, new springs in prim.
