Changes already after the race was completed. Nascar has assessed penalties in that last overtime finish to Matt DiBenedetto and Chase Elliott for forcing cars below the yellow line. Joey Logano was penalized twice in the race for that. So Matt went from 2nd to 21st and Elliott went from 6th to 22nd place finishes. Tough break for Matty as he really needs a win to get a ride next year he feels

Brendon Poole in the 15 car and Ryan Preece in the 37 car now move into the top ten finishers with the penalties.

Almirola and Bowyer pretty much have to win next week at the Roval to advance. Cryle needs some good stages and a good finish and Logano or Bowman to falter. It can be done but then who's hoping that happens. Lol
