Thanks for posting.

I watched qualifying. Wonder if this will be for next year.
I think its an experiment they are trying to try and shorten up race weekends for the teams? They are gonna do it again nect week at the road course at Watkins Glen.

A spin by Matt Kenseth knocked some players out today in the big one but Kyle Busch was able to pilot the 18 Camry to his first win of the season. Here were your top ten: 18-4-78-11-2-14-19-77-20-24

The Chase standings have changed with Busch's win today. Here is the updated Chase standings: 78-48-42-2-17-4-18-11-21-41-31-5-3-24-1-20. Bowyer is 17 points behind Kenseth and Logano is now 69 back. He needs a win bad.

Post race tech found loose lug nuts on the 18 car again? This is about the 5th infraction for that car related to lug nuts being loose after the race. Nascar needs to send a message to Adam Stevens so he takes them a bit more seriously IMO.

Also post race inspection caught the 77 car with an unapproved rear suspension part. $50,000 fine to the crew chief and 3 race suspension. 25 owner and driver points deducted as well as well as the top 10 finish is encumbered. 77 car will not appeal.

Nascar to drop the overtime line rule they made this season and make it like it was before with it at the start /finish line on the last lap. Less confusion.

Also Nascar will reduce the amount of times a Cup driver can race in the Xfinity series next year from 10 to 5 times. Cup drivers will not be allowed to race in any of the Cash for Dash events as well as the playoff races including the season finale in Homestead. They are stating they want to showcase the young talent more they say.

It was a fuel mileage race and Truex won his 4th of the year and is basically a lock for Homestead with all his stage wins and playoff points: 78-20-19-11-14-41-18-21-47-77

Heres your Chase Standings with I think 3 races left in the regular season: 78-48-42-2-17-18-4-11-21-41-31-5-3-24-1-20. Bowyer is now back -28 pts and Logano needs a win bad as he is -95 pts out of the last playoff spot.

NASCAR.com reporting Kasey Kahne out of the 5 car next year at Hendricks. HMS says a new driver will be announced at a later date. I'm putting money on Matt Kenneth to take that ride till William Byron is ready?

Yes couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Very emotional win as his wife just got back out of the hospital for ongoing treatments for cancer and crew chief Cole Pearn had people close to him pass away the week before the race. Good to see good guys don't finish last.
