My Newest Toy - 2007 Rev

I bought it a while ago and haven't had much time to look it over.
2007 800 Rev Summit 151 track.
Had to replace the brake light switch, kill switch & some of the pull cord rewind internals. Still have some odds and ends to do but won't get to that until after I put a few miles on it in McBride this weekend.

Got the extra key done today and recoil parts, so we will get at it tonight.

sbr does that sled have a new 08 engine in it? if not could be a ticking time bomb, nice sled btw, but i think the big ugly windshield needs to go :d

i don't think he's too worried, donut....... The sled has about 5000kms on it......still runs okay........ We'll find out in mcbride this weekend

According to Martin Eq it has the better of the 2 motors offered in 07, a little less HP and a lot less problems.
It will likely get new pistons and double rings in the summer if it runs good this weekend and maybe an electric start for the wifey...maybe.

I'm guessing your a bit bitter about the 07 motors

That's correct. Hopefully it has a few more miles in that motor.

That's correct. Hopefully it has a few more miles in that motor.

I have 5200km on my 07 800 engine and still going strong. Dealer told me not to worry, go hard !

BTW, where are the hood screens ? Still on a mountain side somewhere ?

So we concluded last nite that it is an 800r engine, not the 800ho........

You are right ric. All the '07 and newer doo 800's are the 800r motor. Usually if they were going to go they wouldn't make 1000km. Lookin forward to seein you guys this weekend.
