Just got a new Axys and usually keep the stock can. I also happen to like a hot lunch! Anyone mount a muffpot and if so where? Want to share a picture?

I am not sure it can be done but I have heard it could. It was hard enough on a stock Pro can but with a piece of aluminum angle plate between where the can and pipe connect it was able to fit. The Axys can is even larger but I will post a picture to give you an idea how we did it on the Pro's.

I did the same mount on my sons Axys! the pipe is double walled! Just make sure u drill and rivet into into the first wall or outer surface of the pipe! Looks and works perfect. I don't think you would want to weld it on as there was insulation between the two walls of the pipe.

Use closed head stainless steel rivet.
No exhaust leak

Apparently double wall, so rivets only into the void space between.

Not stainless yet. I’ll switch them out if needed due to issues.

Wanna stay quiet on this sled. If it doesn’t work out I’ll change the whole exhaust out. Maybe find a extra pony or two. But Wanna put some seat time in first.

Hot sausage McMuffins on me!

I know this is an old post but was wondering if anyone was using the mbrp trail can with a muff pot? I mounted it right after the joint going to the MBRP. I tried but in the powder, my exhaust temps seem low at between 90-110F.
