We have a 2003 Yamaha Venture 700 Sled.
Somehow over the last two weeks we have lost our only key for it.
Local Dealer says the only thing we can do is buy a new ignition... for $100.00 not including labour.

Does anybody know if there is anything else we can do besides having to buy a whole new ignition?

They should be able to determine the key code from the serial number or some other number on the sled and order a new key. Usually you can do this for any vehicle.
