hey I just my frist real sport quad a 660 raptor nice sahpe wheelies real easy:D anyway if i need to stand it up on the grab bar when its in the truck so i can get my sone bike in the truck as well is it safe and what do i need to do during transport.(drain the carb shut off the gas?) i need a bigger truck just not in the budget this year and would hate to make two trips to the lake when we bring the toys camping. I am looking at makeing a rail to load his dirt bike across the front of the box overtop the bed rails then i can just ride the quad in a close the end gate but for now just need to know if any of u stand them up on the grab bars? thanks

can his bike fit sideways beteen the rails? are you aboe to put it in first and then your raptor in behind it and just leave the tailgate down? you can also get bike haulers that go into your hitch; no clue what they cost.. just throwing ideas out there.

its a bit to long to put between the bed rails but will just sit on top then i could load the quad and still close the end gate so i can pull my travel trailer as far a bike carrier wont work as then my hitch is being used for the tailer, although that might work for the back of the camper. still leave day trips with needing a way to transport both machines easliy with out having to buy a utily trailer was told its not in the budget

A hitch mount bike carrier at Princess Auto is around $150. You can easily mount a hitch on the back of your holiday trailer.....a crf70 is pretty light, it won't throw any abuse to the trailer frame. Then for day trips, it would only take a few minutes to load onto the hitch of your truck.

I used to put raptor tight to one side of the box and load my buddy's dirt bike beside it. Have you tried this? It was a bit tight but just put a towel between the two and strap them together.
This is what the wife and used to do years ago. One quad and the dirt bike loaded side by side. Load the bike first.
