Tighten it up, keeps the front end down, loosen it off and it lightens up the front end, great for wheelies. Don't remove it.

Tighten it, less attack angle. Mountains

Loosen it, more attack angle. Flat land.

Trench more in the deep with it loose.

Id like to be able to do wheelies and ride in the mtns as well .. Are there pre drilled holes or do I just take a guess ? I was thinking of leaving at least a inch so that the shock is not fully out ..???

Your rear suspension setup will dictate wheelies more than straps. All you'll do is trench in the deep stuff due to more attack angle of the track. If you want even less attack angle then you go drop and roll.

if your driving what your calling yourself (Summit700) then there will be no bolt holes in the strap, but the adjustment will be on a sliding mechanism in the top of the front swing arm, plastic hand nut with a backing nut. If you remove it you will replace your shock shortly afterwards from over extending it very frequently.
