Hey everyone in the market for a snow plow, I've heard lots of different brands, and issues and regrets, this will be going on a Honda 350 fourtrax, now my questions are, how wide should I go, I don't want my tires in the snow when it's angled,Is there any issues with a middle mount system? I was close to buying a tapered plow but it looked awefully heavy, Any opinions, pointers ,tips ,thanks

Try a poly blade they are lighter. 60-66" would work but with tire chains they help huge.

I have a moose 55", with it at full angle it is wider than my Kodiak. Go much bigger and smaller quads will have trouble pushing the heavy stuff. Moose has lots of parts and support, wear bars, hardened skids… Getting the upgraded roller fairlead can save the cable. The tapered "County" plows are heavier but help if you can get up some speed.
