Heading to the farm this week to fire up the cyclone 440 and the pantera 500, will take some pics..... The Ol' JD had a hard life when I was a kid, didn't understand the cold weather jetting thing, couple o stuck pistons when riding in the really cold.... and this was dad's face when we had to start the tractor to go and pull it back to the farm from the middle o no where

this was a fun thread to look over! here is a pic of my dad and I this is the first sled they bought and i ever rode. we were on Christmas break they told us 3 girls we could ski for 2 days or buy this sled and sled for 2 weeks...we got the sled one of my favorite Christmas memories ever!

I have a 76 JD Cyclone 340 sitting in the garage that I want to eventually restore. It still runs but needs some TLC.

heres some old pics i found of my dad!

his old mod, 180 HP! lol that poor thing had a hard life! He was at a buddy's house in Charley Lake, BC, ( IS THAT RIGHT?? JUST OUT OF FOR ST JOHN??) they we're doing something on it, anyways, one more beer! Jumps on it, hits the lake,( not a 100 feet away) and just pins it.........:d COLD SEIZED the mother!
towed it back to the shop and started to pull the SOB apart again he said it never ran the same after that little F up!

PS , i think these pics are before he blow it up!! And i also think there from 1993-1995? (but my mom was there and i was born in 1994) not sure tho cause in the same photo album there's pics of mom and dads brand new summits? and there 1996s? oh well)

the second skidoo from the right (with the flat seat and wierd hood) we had one growing up and im only 24 haha, that and a orange motoski cadet 250. We put a 440 aircooled motor in the skidoo. ran like a champ just too big of a motor for it lol. what was the original motor in them anyways? Oh and my dad has a old triple 440 aircooled polaris ice rader sled. i dont know the year but i bet 70's maybe 80's
