LED Bulbs

Has anyone installed LED Bulbs in a 2012-2015 Polaris Pro?, if so what if any electrical mods were necassary?

if you can find the bulbs to fit the regular socket why would there be a electrical mods they take half the power of a regular bulb

asking because ive been told when a head light delete is done on a Polaris Pro an additional regulator is required. Not saying a mod is necassary just wondering if this is the case for the LED bulbs mod.

The power to the headlights on a Pro is AC, it needs to be rectified to DC for LED or HID's.

Halogen bulbs don't care if the power is AC as long as the RMS voltage is around 12-14 volts. This would have been done to save manufacturing costs on a rectifier setup.
