:dIf anyone is looking to buy one of these Ranchers Supply in Pincher Creek is selling them at the US price of $4200 all taxes in out the door. I bought one from them and the kids love it, it hasen't stopped they have put more miles on the little RZR in two months than they have on there quads they rode for 3 years

I got one for my kids this spring, we haven't spent as much time on the quads this summer so the miles are low so far.
The 170 runs fine, will climb steep hills, just a little slower. A buddy and I went for a ride in the hills and it would still clime with over 400lb of us in it.

I paid $4200 plus gst for ours.

Is the mini rzr 2 or 4 wheel drive?

Its only 2wd,.. I am going to wait to see if a 4wd version comes out. The current model is too low to the ground and has a box rear frame that just scraps mud and piles in into the back axle.

I agree, however, I was able to put 24" tires on the back that has solved the clearence problems, A 4x4 version would be nice though.

I agree with the thought of a roll cage but there is one problem that is not a roll cage. You may want to check it out closer but i know on the full sized ones it is not a roll cage. The one i found to have a certified ROPS was the Terex all the rest are acc bars etc. Hope this helps.

What ages are your kids that are operating these units. My oldest is almost 5 and rides her 70cc quad with no troubles on our acreage with the throttle limited. Your suggestions for a proper age on this machine with supervision would be appreciated.

My kids are 10 and 12, the drivers seat adjusts forward and back and there is a adjustable speed governer for it as well.
I think 5 is a little to young for this size machine as you do need some strength to turn the wheel, it would depend on her ability and understanding of the controls.

On Utube there are kids as young as 5 ripping around on the 170 with no problems, the only thing you have to worry about is running into something because you aren't going to roll it over
