Johnson 4 strokes are rebadged Suzuki outboards. Not made by evinrude / Johnson or BRP. Still a few Suzuki outboard dealers in Edmonton.

Sorry to hear. Used them twice in the last 2 years and have treated me good. For non their brand stuff.
Gibbons motor toys was good as well but long wait time, bit more costly and further from home so switched it up.
