I just bought a used c3 belt drive setup for my 2013 pro with 2.52 gearing. I see kurts only offers a 2.41 setup. I am 260 dressed and am hoping this isnt too low. Anyone else using this setup?

For mountains 2.5 ish is ideal depending on setup

2.4 would be close enough

2013 pro? Polaris?
If Polaris it might be to deep for gearing.
No overdrive clutch on Polaris.
On the doo the 2.52 is good for the 163 and longer tracks due to having a overdrive primary.

I just got the drive today and counted the teeth and its actually 2.42 not 2.52. What do you recommend for clutching? Looking at the kurts clutch kit and also been thinking about the carls cycle setup.

What gear count do you have to get that ratio? I also just bought a used set up for my 13 pro, bottom gear is 53 top ones are 24=2.21 and 23=2.30 not sure where im gonna start. I am running the kurts clutch kit also.

I like what i see from the kurts kit but wanted the tensioner so I went c3 set up. Im going to try my 2.30 first and see how it works.

I'm going with a 2.25 (TKI) to start just to avoid clutching changes right away. But in all my research I've yet to see a bad review for Kurts set ups.

Food for thought. You won't lose a lot of overall track speed by gearing down. You will however use more of the clutch. For whatever reason maybe lack of power the pro won't pull the clutch all the way. By gearing it down it allows the clutch to work fully. Just what Ive heard not real world experience with me. I added a hair blower to mine.

No ur right, if it doesn't have the pull, will never shift out fully, gearing down ratio helps a lower power to pull and shift out farther...

We have the kurts clutch kit in stock if you need.
