ya but he needs chest waders.... his red - green seals leak between the boots and pants

Too funny. I have chest waders sitting in the trailer.
Need to start wearing them.

Frigging duck tape.

So Bighorn's pretty wet is it? Haven't been out this year yet, heading out this friday... How's it looking? By the pictures i'd figure pretty soaked, but are those the serviced trails?

Guess this answers my question. Pointe_Blanke has a post relaying similar info. Let's hope it re-opens by this weekend!

Just got back from Bighorn yesterday. Everything's quite dry, weather for the next few days calls for sunshine! Trails on the other side of hwy 11 ( Tershishner Area ) are great. Loop from T1 to T3 was nice and muddy :beer:

So the first turnoff on hwy 11 to the south after the dam turnoff heads down by Abraham lake and the creek. How is this road? Am I goin have issues with 35' fifthwheel trained up with quad trailer? Or am I better off stayin over by the dam? Which would be the easiest to access some 2wd kidquad friendly trails? First time campin/quaddin in this area..... Thanks!

your fine with pretty much any size of trailer, and yes the trails are pretty much a cake walk for anything 2 wheel drive

I have a question about camping at the dam, when I was there it looked pretty iffy to get down that hill with a 5th wheel trailer. Is there another way down there or am I stuck trying to find one of the limited number of spots up on top?

No worries with the hill...I pull a 40' toyhauler up and down it with a 2 wheel drive Freightliner...over 34,000lbs, and never had a problem.
