So I have a problem with my sled fouling spark plugs.
So decided to check spark plug wires and checked coil resistance.
My Question is.
The service Manual specs the secondary coil resistance to be 18k ohms +\~ 15 %. All other measurements are exactly to spec.
So both my coils measure high 12k ohms. 12.84, 12.74.
So mine are both low from spec about 30%.
Anyone have knowledge on how this affects the spark. Does the lower resistance in the secondary increase or decrease the voltage output to the spark plugs?
New coils look to be a couple hundred bucks each.
