165 cm in some quiet trees today. One can go from the parking lot but we chose to stage at the 3km switchback on Brash.
Wife and I had fun today. I can’t push too hard as she tires easily in the tighter trees. Lots of tracks; trail is awesome.
Found a fenced off garden or corral that I didn’t know was there and presently, it is just at the top of the snow. Just south and west of the Chalet.

We found that corral as well. Best we could figure is that somebody runs, or ran cattle up there. Makes sense with the cattle gate heading to the the main lot. Meant to ask Justin at the cabin on Friday, but it slipped my mind.

I installed an amateur weather station at my house a little while ago. Im close enough you could consider it the same weather as the Brash parking lot.
Here is public link to those of you interested in the realtime conditions in the valley. It updates every minute. You can change the duration of the graphs via the drop down to see historical data.

Played on Hunters today. Didn't put on a whole lot of kms. Day 4. Pretty tuckered.
There is lots untouched. But if you hit any air pockets around trees, it's stuck. (At least I was).
Last part of the day our one buddy went to attempt a re entry off a log near this lovely rock.
Put his sled into the trees. Hell of a crunch. Lucky minimal damage. Broke a vent cover on his G5. Cracked the belly pan by the exhaust.

We ran the Ashton trail. Was fairly smooth. Supposed to be grooming tonight.

Base is getting deeper though. I'm 6'4 for reference. That's me in my helmet under that tree... Not sure if I was on bottom yet. My whole group watched me fall in. Was able to climb out myself.

Warm. Rain part way up the trail. Snowing up top. Snows very heavy wet and sticky.
It was snowing decently up top for a few hours before we headed down around 230. The snow pack was getting very wet and heavy. Snow turned to rain around 1400m heading down.

I figured as much. I live near the bottom, just been riding elsewhere in the past week.
By the looks of your pics, the snow appears relatively cold and staying on the trees. Kinda looked like it survived the warmth.
Not the case at eagles.

Big cock rock. Never heard it called that. :ROFLMAO: Then again, I've never seen guys take rainbow dildos riding either. You can ride over it on a good year.

Access looks like it is going to take a beating in the next week. Trail was slushy up to 3km and parking was getting muddy. The snow on the trees in the picture/video was at 16km. Up top the snow is great and I probed twice at 195cm, once at 165cm, and once at 200cm. The further north, the deeper. Andrew and Justin are doing great working the snow in the conditions they get thrown at them.
