Where's ur gas and water tanks??

Bet there are close to the trailer axles, fuel is in the rear of the rear axle I bet also

Won't change much for hitch weight on truck

Actually the more weight in the rear of the toy hauler the less hitch weight, less rear axle weight then

Correct water tank above axles. Fuel tank at the rear. You bet the more in rear of trailer the better.

It's a triple axle too

I have a ford F150 Ecoboost 4x4 crew cab with the max towing package. I also own a Nash 23b trailer (~450lb hitch weight dry). I took this across the scales last Friday with 2 passengers 1/2 tank of gas, trailer with 50 gallons of water and an equalizer hitch. Trailer weighed 5800lbs, front axle under by 1000lbs and rear axle under by 400lbs.

Thus although I am under my max trailer towing capacity by some 5000lbs, if I had a canopy on the truck or a quad In the box, I would be over on my rear axle. I was really thinking about a small bumper pull toy hauler, but there is no way I could legally pull the thing with any water on board or with a built in generator. The rear axle is the problem.

if I had a quad in the back of the trailer to offset some of the pin weight then maybe, but I couldn't pull any toyhauler greater than 20ft with my half ton without a counter weight in the back.

The bars were up there. I was a little surprised with the lack of payload in the back. I am on the road and the numbers are at home. I think the weight was 1620kg and max load was 1800kg. I looked at an F350 and GM 3500 (srw), they were about 3300kg or so.

The hitch on my truck has a 1130lb capacity and the max trailer is 11300lb, but with the 1800lb rear axel, I can't get anywhere close to max trailer or max hitch weight. Maybe I messed up the calculations?

I thought the ratings on the diesel would higher than my gas pot, interesting
You've seen my 05, and its a diesel but not a dually.

I'm honestly surprised that it has a higher GVWR than some of the newer ones, considering it's the Harley Davidson Edition. I thought it would have been a lot less!!!

Weight Distributing hitch, i dont know why people dont use them. It puts some of the weight from the truck squatting, further back, and more so onto the trailers axle(if the trailer axle has room on the rating)

what are the numbers like for you guys with the newer trucks regarding gross combined vehicle weight? as well as max trailer weight, for curiosity sake.

my '06 2500 HD SRW ext cab longbox says 12,000 lb trailer, or 22,000 lb GCVW

I've got loaded axle weights somewhere, but rough numbers pinned up to my 5th wheel gross combined is about 23,XXX, trailer is near 16k, and rear axle is at max.
