Every year. I liked Maxwell's justification in the OP as it is really why I keep new machines. I doo not want to be fixing nothing on the hill in the cold and wind.

for us its reliability. So far back into nowhereland, down in some nasty creek draw, it doesn't have to be 300hp it just has to make it home. (and I will add to that "each and every day of riding").

As an after thought, I will have a lady driven 2013 XMX 163 ES for sale this year.

I boosted my xm cause I only have a 1/2 truck but once I get a 3/4 or 1 ton I will be having a sled deck. I will be buying a new xm and keeping it stock and having a boosted viper or nytro for chute climbing days, and buy a new 2 stroker every second year or so

You sure you got a 09 etec? If you do it should be worth lots cause it's the only one!

Unless its a 600...

I think I'm gonna start buying a new one every year. The cost is almost the same trading up year to year as depreciation is.

Unbolt my TSS and toss it on the new one and ride it!

Before 4 year warranty came out it was every 2nd or third year, now it will be every four years as I only do about 500 km a year, except this year...only 129km:mad: so far!

Viper?

Rode one with a 290 kit, mine pulls harder, and not enough handling and ride difference to make me want to change. Maybe for 2016 I hear all new so who knows. The giggle factor of the one I ride has yet to wear off. So till I see something that excites me going to stick with the T-apex.

I upgrade every 3-4 years. Don't seem to put the km on any more.
