I have a Giant 1200 full suspension. Its been around for awhile but still rides good as new. I used to ride a lot back in NFLD but haven't ridden hardly at all since moving to Alberta 7 years ago.
Bought a Giant last year. A little too old for downhill riding these days. I'll stick to the trails in Kananaskis. Had to upgrade last year cause I was almost running into friends that had disc brakes and I didn't. Thought about a full suspension but the price was quite a bit more for the lighter bikes.
This year will suck since my friends have gotten into road bikes and put a lot of km's on their bikes in a week. Lungs and legs.
I ride a Norco Bigfoot. I wanted a full suspension but all my money goes toward sledding. But the hard tail is awsome for trail riding and pissing around in the city.
I got a specialized rock hopper full suspension bike. I use to ride alot with some friends in the river valley but that died off after awhile. I really haven`t rode alot in the pass two years but would love to start it again. We use to do trips to jasper and ride for the day...that was alot of fun.
We spend our summers much like we spend our winters, driving to Golden or Invermere to ride. Downhill, xc, freeride, street, road, bikepark and skatepark on the bmx.

That's a trail in Grand Junction Colorado called the ribbon, near Moab, Utah. From the point that I took off to the landing "patch" (and it was a patch) was just over 40'. Too much fun. Had to nail a sniper transition and then launch another 12' step down. I even put my knee/ shin pads on for that one.
