so I bought this car and have been driving it daily. Great car!!! This winter I am getting it all redone (in/out including motor) so I booked the body work and paint with a guy out of Sicamous who does this kind of work. I am leaning to put some ghost flames in the paint like the picture below shows (I am getting it painted the same red colour as well). What are your opinions on the flames (most guys says yes and women say no LOL).

my new purchase. Going to drive it as is for this summer then get it painted candy apple red. But, first I have to go and pick it up in Lethbridge. Pretty pumped!

I like the idea of flames but first need to ask what the plan is with the motor? If it'll be fast add flames if it's a low and slow cruiser no flames IMO.

Brandon, the car has a 350 sbc right now more/less stock. I don't plan to go too crazy with power but leaning towards a RV cam and converting to fuel injection by getting rid of the carb.

I would go subdued....no flames, painted chrome. Unless the goal is to look 70s-80s retro....then flames do it. (Counts Kustoms style) Cool car. I like the EFI idea. Look into FI Tech...

Tks Dave!!! I think I will tone down the flames a tad further. But then again I could change my mind again LOL. As for EFI, that is the kit I was looking into. They want around $1300 for the set up and another 3-400 for the control module. Apparently very easy to install.

I met his son as well. They seem to make a good team of talent. Seen some of the work they do. Pretty impressive!

Cool Jeffa Brandon and I are friends with his son who also works there. Quite the talent in that shop from what I've seen.
