How do you break in a 125cc 2 stroke?

If it's new or just freshly rebuilt, just ride it but don't load it hard. Don't make any long runs at wide open or attempt to do any long climbs that work the engine while it is fresh. I'd do that for aprox the first hour or so than ride it like you stole it!!! I've heard guys say two strokes don't need to be broke in but I believe you should just ride it easy for the first bit while it heats up and rings seat.

You'll want to change the crank oil in the first couple hours as well. Watch for any metal shavings, change again soon after if needed.
