Headlight delete question

Hey quick question

I am running a 07 m1000 and was have the moflo vents for the headlights and was wondering if i have to run a resistor once i take the headlights out? please let me know

ya you do, i have one on my sled, ive never tried without or know what happens if you dont but i do know the ecm is like 1800$ so i just listen to what im told lol i think the resistor is around 100$

apparently your ecu burns out after a while with your headlights out. we were talking to a guy on lucielle and he said he learnt the hard way on his turbo M1000.

i see in your signature your running a 2009, the ecu/ computer is differend then an 08, a 2009 does not need the resistor.

I think the 05-06 need a resistor,yours may not,best to check with your dealer thx wayne
