trying to establish the truth about HID lights and legality. Many high end vehicles factory supplied with HID headlights with LED running lights. They must all be illegal? HID lamps installed and adjusted properly make night driving so much safer they shoould be in every vehicle. ADJUSTED PROPERLY being the key. IMO.

Read back.... They are legal if installed in the hid projector housings and not in standard housings.... New vehicles sold with hids have said proper housings

I don't think they should be illegal. I do however think they should only be used for hi-beams. So that others can see when you pass them.
