Hy Folks
I was out packing yesterday on the west side, pretty good now
the snow is coming in my rubber boots,
I haven't made it east or south but should be equal or better

Hi Folks
It rained here last night, probably 3 mm, that normally would be a bad thing but it has placed a hard crust on the snow and
this will be a big help over the next couple of days as it gets to 5 plus degrees.
The snow has packed down a couple of inches, all good makes it better when going over rough terrain.
I knew the warm weather was coming so I did not groom the trails on the weekend, this keep the snow from
glazing over. the trails will be a bit bumpy but we keep the snow.
I will start again when the temp drops, so you will have to put up with the crappy trails for a couple weeks.

See you on the trails

Good day Guys
Well the Long Lake Snow Elves are out today IT'S SNOWING
I was out in the Geo for 7 hours yesterday all the trails on the east side are groomed,
south to the Grazing reserve and east to the Old Black tub.
The west was done last week should be good.

Here's a couple of pics from yesterday, now that's nice even if I say so myself:cool:

The snow got a little soft this week but it's still over my rubber boots when I'm out cutting the over hanging willows.

See you on the trails
Don

Looks awesome Don. We are planning to ride out there this Saturday. An update on how much snow falls today would be great.

Hi Folks
Well you will come out and enjoy a great family ride.
the snow in the bush is about a foot deep, the trails you will ride if your new to the area are groomed
or sled packed.

See you on the trail

Hi Don sounds like it's good to go out at the lake. Do you think that cooling for the liquid sleds will be ok?

Well folks
The news is not good, plus 5 and 50 km/h winds yesterday has dropped about 3 inches of
snow and glazed over every trail out here, with the forecast of plus 8 for a few days it could just about finish
the riding until we pick up a nice dump. the trails were thin and now they are showing black.
Also there are so many quads on the soft groomed trails now it will take a pile of work to repair, oh well.

Never say die, we will get a lot more winter and riding.

See you on the trail

Had a blast at the lake met a few groups out on the trails, had a wiener roast put on about 90 klms. Don my man you are doing the impossible with the snow that you have to work with. If you head south and to fig lake take gas for your chain saw the wind has blown down lots. To bad the boys on the quads that ruin the trails don't take the time to help keep them clear O well that's another story. Good Job Don
