you can acess from the holt turn off or upper holt. To get in from upper holt you most definately do not take the gully down but another way.

So im thinking prob wouldnt be a good idea to take the ladys car up the logging road? prob should bring my truck?

I would recommend a truck as the road is pretty rough above the switch backs but we did see a couple of mini vans up there the day we went.
