golden retriever

we have a two year old golden retriever that we are looking to breed but having issues finding a stud ....
we had one lined up but they say the vet told them a male at 14 months shouldnt be a stud dog ..... does anyone in the calgary area know of anyone that has a male golden that they would rent out for stud

Would you consider a different breed?
My dog TJ is a Spangold. 1/2 Springer Spaniel and 1/2 Golden Retriever. All black, with a white breast, both his parent are pure breds. He's 5.5 yrs old and is incredibly smart.
