I run a fan aswell. I can sweat just thinking about sweating... I find the fan helps quite a bit. The only complaint is the fan damages/dimples the goggle lense. 509 fan in 509 sinisters.

Two guys in our group have them and can't wear goggles without them. I guess I've been lucky my Scott's don't fog on me but they both had problems with their 509s before the fans.

I ran a set for two rides last year, seem to work pretty good.

5 yrs with Habervision fans, have 3 pairs, too loud for snow skiing, don't hear them much on a sled though, web site orders have all been seamless, I recommend trying them.

They work pretty darn good! They tend to freeze now instead of fog

I have one but have never used it. Picked up Klim's Arctic Balaclava and have not fogged up one single time.

Depends on if its your breath fogging or your fogging cause your sweating.

yet klim balaclava with the deflector will stop fogging from breathing but if your sweating you are too bundled up.

I winter bike on my fatbike and if im wearing a balaclava my goggles fog, i need to wear a super thin skull cap and a buff or im overheating.

Yep, I have the 509 fan in both pairs of Aviators, works great for me, doesnt fit well in the old style sinisters tho... Altho the buzzing drives me nuts when i can hear it

Not worth the money, I quite using mine. 509's work good without it.

got my 509 goggle fan today. Hmmmm bit noisy for my liking! Hope helmut/sled drowns out the sound a bit. Too high pitch!
