last time I was stopped at a trailside checkstop they issued stickers to bikes who were checked and had ins, reg, head and tail lights as well as a spark arrester. If you did not, at that time they gave you a warning about the lights and arrester, but you never got a pass sticker

I run a quiet spark arrestor on my YZ back from when I lived in Kelowna and rode Bear Creek a lot. They are definitely a move in the right direction and will hopefully alleviate some land use issues.
