I don't got a fancy scale but the old spring scale said a bit over 15lbs

I caught and released kind of lol. The hook was down in its gills, took lots of care to get the hook out. Got him back in the water ASAP , let him sit there for a bit and he swam away. Casted about 6 more times and seen he was floating upside down just out from the boat. So I didn't want to waist it so I took him home.
