We had a great time filming with Tom Opre all weekend. We were filming footage for Mountains and Mud 5. 1st day, I filmed at Hells Half Acre by Alberta Beach, It was pretty dry there, not much mud at all. Had to get back early as we had to go to the Wild TV hunt fest and be at the Sledheads Release Party in the evening. So the Party went very well and the Video is Awesome, got to get a copy if you don't have one. Then we were off to Rocky for a full day of filming on Sunday. We did several different shots, one Darcy (sumx54) flipped his quad in the water, Swamped it . So after a tow home and some giggles, we were ready for another good ride, we had some good hill climbs and some mud, and more mud, and some jumping, then we hit some skeg to finish the day. I couldn't even see through my goggles anymore, and could hardly hold on anymore, it was very muddy. Then I Broke somthing , Oh crap, well at least we were done for the day, we were exhaused by then so it was time to head back anyway. The tire was hanging by the brake caliper and Im not sure what kept it on, It was broken at the spindle, looks like it might be a costly repair, who knows. It was so muddy we were trying to flip it on its side and we couldn't even budge it. That was worth a good laugh. Hopefully Tom posts some pictures he took. It was a good day anyway, a little sore today, and tired but I'll recover.

Looking forward to Mountains and Mud 5 when it comes out.

I spoke with him today, heard it was good, and a few good rollovers too. That was too far out of the way for Tom to film though. He headed back to Montana right afterwards.

why the heck didn't you get on the eagle river area trails? so much mud there its almost pointless .. i'm sure some of you saw my ATV at the campout its setup to mud and I've been stuck out there a few times in the 5 foot deep ruts with mud to the top :p

I even cleared out all the holes for you guys so it would have looked pretty good rooster tailing through some of the holes.

you could have also hit the skeg at fish lakes that would have made some crazy video but i would have watched you ive already snaped enough stuff in skeg for my tastes !

We didn't actually film Mountains and Mud 5 anywhere near Whitecourt. We were West of Rocky with Ron, Thomas Opre and myself. We found more mud and skeg than a guy wanted.
