You know it’s bad when potato farmers say they aren’t buying John Deere just because of their pricing.

Seed farmers here have 3 X9's and one day there was 2 John deere service trucks in field. Only one combine running. Been having lots of trouble sounds like. They did the field behind our house other day and all 3 were blowing dust!!!!

That would be east of humboldt country to the border that grows big crops all the time. Great times to have big crops with the prices. Sadly no big yields in our country this yr again

We demoed a x9 with a 50' Deere HDR header in canola and oats last week! It was very impressive, Header was staggering, could take 50' of 50 bushel canola at 4.5 mph and never miss a beat. Combine had less loss and burnt less fuel that the 790's!
BUT! Combine and Header optioned right up is just shy of 1.4mil and is an extreamyl complex piece of equipment! It's gunna be great while new and under warrenty but I sure the hell wouldn't want to own one when they start to get some hours,

Thats exactly how we felt 1.4 mil
For one combine although nice doesnt fit into many farms budgets, and it dont replace 2 combines like they say under ideal
Conditions mb 1.5 but thats a big maybe, also any farm
That does have a x9 has a jd tech truck following the combine around. I can buy 6 low houred s680/s690 for the price of that one combine and im sure they would get a hell of a lot more done and hold there value better then the 1 x9

I was at a 60th bday party last night and found out a friend had bought a new X9 this year. The salesman had told him he could combine his 100bu irrigated wheat at 5mph. He told me it was more like 3-3.5mph with his 45 ft header. He felt it was underpowered? He did say it was better on fuel than his S 780’s but in no way was it going to replace those two combines by itself.

That means you can harvest 10bu wheat at 50mph.
