Was at the lake last weekend camping for 5 days.
Little family get together - about 30 of us.
Minor consumption, lol.
Fishing was decent.
Couple decent jacks and pickerel.
Saw a nice ling on shore......dead. No idea how to catch them.
Brother got itch pretty good barrel rolling when kayaking. I stayed out of the water except to launch boat.

Seagulls sat on tower and bombed my boat.
Diarrhea bastages!!!!

Hey Folks
Well its time for my winter prediction.
If you believe El Nino is on the way out
and La Nina is back, and we usually get our nice snow falls
every 7 years I won't be grooming rocks this season, YA

Now as I have always prefaced this prediction
If you believed my B.S. That's good, Cause the folks with the Higher Education NEVER get it right!!!

12 inches mid November, 18 by the end with -25 come the month end
December is a nice snow month too, 2 feet by Christmas
January is a poor snow month but cold. No Brainer here.
February and March could be record months for snow

This will be the snow depth here at the lake this year

I'm serious

See you on the
Trail
Don

Hi Folks
Had a great crew out on Saturday to do some pruning of the north south trail from the Staging area as well
as north from the Look out approx. 2km. This will greatly assist in keeping the lights attached to the roof of the Geo.
Well in about 40 more days I will start the process for the season.

See you on the trail
Don

this year, Spoiled Eh! I added a forth blade this fall, I think the BIG Power of the 1.6 liter will
handle it :)

Hi Folks
We have picked up 4 inches of snow today, if this was the 14th of November we would be
smiling.
Oh well we need the moisture.
Maybe see you at the Snow show Saturday

Good day folks
The map indicates the two loops marked in yellow and green that I will be grooming this season. Each loop is approx. 30 km.
I will be informing you of the trail conditions on the "Northwest and South east Loops.

I have been asked to mark them, I have not been a big supporter of hanging signs in the trees, my thoughts are go and Explore, that's the fun of riding at the Lake.
You may see the odd note to assist new folks to the area.

so after Halloween start beating the winter drums,

See you on the trails.
Don.

Hi Folks
Well it' Friday and it's time to check the ice depth
6 inches in front of the beach, about 100 out its about the same.
The Jiffys will be revving up soon
With the cold forecasted and no snow coming the Lake will be safe this season

Hi Folks
Merry Christmas to all Snow and Mud Followers

I did ice testing on the LLCreek today
10 inches where I tested from the Narrows all the way to the Steel Bridge

The creek is rutted up by guys having some fun on the quads
Haven't tried out the groomer yet this season might have to try it out on the creek

The county has built their road from the Lake pit to the south end pit
Will be a nice trail when they're finished hauling

Well we have about 5 inches of snow on the lake if you want to do a little riding
See you on the trail

Don
