First of all is the estart on a 2012 etec the same as a 2015 etec T3 , I’m assuming so, second there is a wire for the starter switch( pink one in pic ) Apparently I’m told there is a dummy plug as well that goes too the solinoid, I cant find it. School me! Thx.

I can’t say for sure, but I put the one off my 2010 and put it on my 15

I’m thinking it will work, I was told they don’t sell the harness separately for the ones that are not already wired for e stsrt

This is my 14 xmx that did not come with e start

I got a used kit and installed

The plug there plugs into the solenoid

Will need the 2nd fuse holder and wire it to battery feed post on solenoid

I was hoping that wire would be install from factory, why would do install a ring gear and not the wire, I do have an empty fuse holder, can’t seem too find a wire in my sled though, thought it might be hidden in there somewhere cause do don’t sell that wire separate....fml

Yes the fuse holder is empty, you need the pins to slide in and latch, that the fuse slides into open prongs

Or just use a aftermarket fuse holder and zip tie it to the empty one

25 Amp fuse goes in

Lyle if ya need I can look where the one wire goes to below the used fuse holder

That would be great, wiring certainly isn’t one of my strong points lol
