Production sleds are now hitting the dealers floors. Some fresh engine Dyno runs have begun with anywhere from 182-205 on zero mileage Stock engines. We all know every dyno in the world could read different and is all dependent on operator, fuel flow, air density and machine. Some have put a few more miles (I'd imagine on grass or heat cycling them) since their initial results and also added things like gutted OEM exhaust, Straight Exhaust, colder air intakes, added boost and fuel and come up with some impressive numbers. The IH Turbo unit is efficient to around 250hp based on specs. After that it may require an "upsize", which is real easy. Here are D&D results as they seem to be trying more things like boost and fuel from what it looks like.
Looking forward to the ride.

Is that just a remapped for 250hp or a replaced larger turbo and other parts?

Nice I was expecting this to make in that 240-250hp range with just a tune and straight pipe and it looks like that's about exactly where it is.

That was my first thought, sorry but that's fugged numbers with a 0 bsfc lmao

Any engine run up with a 0 bsfc will have big numbers

sent while drinking tea's

It will actually have zero numbers, but you already knew this right? You know, being in the automotive industry and all...

All that the partial screenshot above means is that they didn't choose to record fuel flow, either extrapolated from injectors and duty cycle, or via a fuel flowmeter. You don't need a BSFC calculation to measure torque and RPM. It's an interesting number to know as is AFR, coolant temp, air consumption, or how many goldfish you have in your pond.

Actually, it is a bold assumption that the column even reads "BSFC". All I see is that this engine's "BS" level is 0.0 all the way through the RPM range. :D

on the stock motor pull the AFR's were at 11.8 to 12.2 non-ethanol fuel peak 204hp at 8800rpm
on the stock motor pull the AFR's were at 12.2 to 12.6 9.9% ethanol fuel peak 205hp at 8800rpm
stock motor prototype speedwerks muffler AFR's were 12.4 to 12.9 non-ethanol fuel 228hp at 8800rpm
stock motor prototype speedwerks muffler AFR's were 12.7 to 13.5 9.9% ethanol fel 230hp at 8900rpm

MCX has baseline, Stage1 and Stage2 numbers to share. All with stock components. their next level will include a Turbo "Upsize" and Intercooler with Plenum and injectors to get in the 280-300 range on the fully "built for boost" factory motor. 250 hp is the max the OEM IHI 5 series turbo will flow and remain efficient. Erik feels he will offer his standard Mitz 19t on the Stage3 package. Pricing and avail as we move forward.
Oh yeah.....remember. Dynos will read different so it best to go off the baseline established.
