Do you have to Jet a Freestyle?

My brother just got his son a new session freestyle, 300cc, for christmas. We are planning a trip to sicamous this weekend, and was just wondering if we have to jet the freestyle. It has carbs, I just don't know if it has smart carbs or some self adjusting system.

If it doesn't have DPM he'll have to jet it.

we have a 08 backcountry 550f i jetted it to 150, jerry @ martin said to use 140 or 150 jets, rode 2 days at Clemina and ran great.
