I have the DJ setup with ramps and it's working great, stock 09 Renegade with a 141x2 track, 2.52 drivers with stock diameter, 20/45 gearing.
The only thing that bother me is I am getting some black lines on the primary after running deep snow for awhile. Just a thin black line at the bottom of the sheave right off engagement and another about 1/3 to 1/2 way up, I suppose at the shift ratio where it holds 45mph WFO in the deep.
I'm at 15.3g pin weight and clicker 3 to hold 8300 on the tach. I'd like to add more weight to grip the belt harder, but then I'll be low on RPM's.
Is there any benefit to going to 16g and clicker 4 vs. 15.3g and running clicker 3? The other obvious thing would be gear down to 19/45 and run more weight in clicker 3, but my gear ratio is already pretty low for a 141 no?
This is running 383 belts by the way; I know I should have 377 but I'm trying to get my money's worth out of the two 383 belts I bought
