So there the same?
SB is a crossover sled. = wider ski stance & shorter track lugs.
RMK is a Mountain sled. Rocky Mountain King.
Probably more differences than that. I'm a Cat guy so lucky to get that much out of me. Good Luck

i have a 800 switchback 2005 and a 700 RMK. the difference 800 144 track 1.25 lug ski stance 42-44 long travel suspention not for deep deep powder great for trail and off trail riding will go anywhere a 136 2" track will go if you go to the mountians 1-3 times a year great sled the newer switchbacks only have a 136 track 1.25 lug not for mountian riding but if you want to pull hills with deep snow and you hate getting stuck in 2 feet of snow on the flat go with the RMK 141-155-163 track 2-2.40 lug same suspention but don't use it for just trail riding or you will be replacing rail slides every trip

The switchback is a little heavier, wider, shorter track length and lug height, and the RMK's are mountain sleds, they are generally lighter, narrower ski stance, 2-2.25 lug height and they are geared lower, different suspension.

If you run ice scratchers on the trails, the hyfax wear wont be bad at all...got a 166 and I have to run alot of trails and even with the wheels removed, my hyfaxes are in great shape
