Detroit lockers

Does anyone have any experience with the ATV gearless detroit lockers, i just ordered new tires an hour ago and i think a locker would be a great addition with new tires. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Sold another one before xmas for a TRX500FE. The guy LOVES it, best thing you can do to a Honda!!! Dont know why they just dont put them in from factory! Little heavier steering (esp on rocks/ hard pack). $1100.00 installed, cust says well worth it. Have Detroit in my chevy diesel and Jimmy (welded diff in Suzi, soon to have Detroit in frt of it), they just work that well and no problems in 12 yrs of beating up.

so, i know they say they steer a little harder but how much harder!!! will my wife be able to steer it with a locker? The quad still will be used around the acreage...will it cut the sh*t out of my grass or is she strictly meant for the mud holes with the locker.

I was hoping there was something out there like the rock crawlers(trucks) have with an electric actuator.
