Glen, this is the McBride Thread:cool:, We have the same here!!, So Haha to you to..

The other day it was a blizzard in the evening, yesterday we went to The Renshaw, the parking lot was fairly packed as there was no access to the lower parking lot. Even the snow plow was stuck and Im not sure how long it took the second snow plow to get it out. It was quite funny to watch there rigging tactics.

Well it was -4 and Snowing quite heavy most of the day. I launched way up on a drift and landed on some trees on the side. It took just over an hour to get it out and you hardly see the sleds. The powder was between 2' and 3' with a great base beneath. Our tracks and trench were filled in very quickly. It was hard to keep the goggles clean. There was a guy that had broken his left lower leg or ankle, not sure any more on that, he seemed to be doing ok at the cabin. The ride down would have been painfull as it was very bumpy. Hopefully the snow lets up today and we can see more, then it can snow more in the evening :d.

See you at the Hill. And yes the nytro was excellent!!

-9 this am a bit foggy. The boys said there was at least 2-3 feet of new stuff and still snowing when they left the hill last nite. Ron's nitro ran like a charm.
FOUND-on the Renshaw trail a tool bag. If you lost and can tell me what it looks like call the number below.

Glad to hear that the snow has come and Ron's Nytro is running strong! (Let's see some pics of the beast in the snow Ron!) Hope to see you and Judy early in the New Year Barry.

Sorry, no 2-3 feet of fresh overnight. We only had about 8" of fresh in our tracks from last night when we came down. Was only about 4" of fresh on the trucks at the staging area when we loaded up. It's pretty much impossible to determine the amount of fresh if your in a untracked area as there is NO base in the trees and meadows but once you hit the upper slopes it's blown very hard almost to ice like conditions underneath a small amount of fresh. Still a below average snowpack for here, conditions similar to last year. Had the whole area to ourselves again today. Gotta love Mcbride!!

We rode renshaw today again (Dec 29,08), Blue sky, -5, Awsome day of riding. The snow WAS Epic! The snow was no less than 1 1/2 feet deep, and we were sledding in places where it was 2-1/2 feet. Here are pictures to show this. Also the parking lot was full and the road to right to the cattle bridge was lined with trucks.

And the Turbo Goes like crap!! We all took turns riding today.
