My buddy borrowed my 1998 Mach1 and hit a stump. This bent the lower control arm. Do I have to tear apart the whole front end to replace this arm or is there an easier way to get at the center bolt ?

:nopics: Lets see what the damage is, I would imagine that you would have to take the assembly off.

I took a hammer and staightend the control arm the best I could but I want to replace it with the new one I bought. The bolt that attaches it to the ski assembly is easy to get at but the one that is in the center of the sled is hard to get at. It is up under the belly pan and is not accessable from underneath. i just want to know if I can remove it by removing the belly pan or do I have to remove the engine to get at it.
