Hey folks, I am making myself a set of running boards for my rev. I have some set screws on the cross bars for traction. See the pic below. Can anyone think of a better cheap way to get traction, or should I just keep it simple and add some more set screws?

Ice traction screws that you use on dirt bike tires.

I have built four sets of running boards and they are awsome! I have always used tire studs for qaud and dirt bike tires on ice! They work great there is not way your sliping with them. The guys that i built the boards for thought they might be to aggresive but once they tried them they really liked them!

You could also use the skinz traction cleats. I will be adding some of them to where my traction screws have come lose on my pipe boards. Shouldn't be a problem what your using but as stated locktite as they will back out just from the vibration
