can am ds-250 doggy on bottom end

has any body messed with the ds 250s my kids seems dead off the line a big hesitation just wondering if any body tried any carb changes or anything?

I just did a clutch kit on my daughters ds250. They recommend changing the main jet to a 112 instead of the factory 105, and changing slow jet to a 40 instead of a 35. They also recommend removing the air injection from the engine as well. I have not got the new jets yet, so I cannot tell you how the jetting works. The clutch kit raises the engagement to a higher rpm, more within the engines power range. I also put 2" bigger rear tires on it & a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket.

How did you go about plugging the ports on the air injection once you removed it? What did you exactly use to plug it off?
