Camping/ quadding in BC, info required

We are looking to camp/quad in BC for about 2 weeks this July. We random camp as much as possible (very responsible). Looking into going to the Revy area, were in Valemount and Golden (Kinbasket Lake ) area's last summer. If anybody has suggestion's would be greatly appreciated. If you want to keep is private by all means send a PM and it will stay that way. Back in 2010 we stayed at Munroe Lake in White Swan provincial park area and rode one day into Elkford(that was a great trail) and then the surrounding area, had a good time riding into the valley's on old logging roads, not another soul around, so we are very comfortable riding in the mountains.

Thanks, will research Bear Mountain Kelowna was also a destination in mind, Kamloops another one.

we went up to McBride and rode a number of areas. Dore river has 3 FSR from one central camping area. Lots of other FSR to ride on in this area. pm bbtoys for more info

The riding area mentioned in the Kelowna area as Bear mountain is actually called Bear creek and not mountain.
Look up Bear creek recreational park.
Do your research before driving out as this area is for mainly motorcycles (dirt bikes), though atv's are welcomed. They have a width restriction 50" and noise restriction at bear creek. Wider's machines are limited to only a few trail's.

Though there are a few other area's that atv rider's can enjoy from Kelowna. South is Peachland that has a numerous trail system that connect's to Summerland.
North there is Vernon that offer's area's like Noble canyon and Aberdeen plateau.

The biggest advise is do your research before heading out as there are LOTS of rules and regulation's concerning atv use in BC depending on where you go.
In the Okanagan wheeled vehicles in certain area's, including Revelstoke have an elevation limit and cannot travel into certain area's as they are closed to wheeled vehicles.
Off trail excursion is also illegal and confiscation and fines are extremely hefty. Again check the area your planning to go before going.

Thanks for the info, as for the noise limits, we run all our machines stock, hate noisy pipes. We also stay on all trails. Will be doing research but having some first hand info up front helps

The Revelstoke area is amazing for quadding. we got stuck in the snow in July up in the mountains.
