What do you guys think they should do?

I say trade Bouwmeester for a young forward(or Brad Richards:rolleyes:) Let Staios and pardy walk. Hagman and Kotalik should be buried in the minors and bring some young guys up.

What about iginla?

If we are trading iggy we are doing a top to bottom rebuild. may as well trade kipper, regehr, and Giordano. I don't think we need a total rebuild. If we can add some more depth on the 3-4 line we should be good. Iggy and Tanguay had a great season and even better with Morrison in the middle.

You really think you can trade JBo? He is at the top of the list of the WORST contracts in the NHL and has an NTC.

Best of luck, your stuck with him for a long long long time.

You guys need some depth with talent & a huge upgrade on the Blueline. Olly da joke is cancer, B Mo is getting old & seems to get hurt every year now. Iggy is a gamer but has never had a real gifted center to get him the puck. Tear it down & rebuild, only takes 3 years in the cap era to rebuild if done right. The coilers will be real good in 1 more year, with all the young talent on entry contracts and souray's gone.

You're kidding right? Our blue line is one of the top in the league. Every player in the league learns to skate with his head up when Regehr or, Sarich are on the ice. Giordano had 43 points, Babchuck had 35.

Takes more than 3 years. Oilers are going on year 6

I think we could send him east for a good pick. If lidstrom retires he could go to Detroit he's a better fit in the east with less hitting and a faster game

Seeings as how Supertramp is on tour this only seems fitting ...................

Dreamer, nothing but a dreamer .........................

4 more years, 6.68 million cap hit, not a leader, not a point producer and scared of his shadow. Yup, the line starts to the left.

Oh yeah, did anybody mention a NO MOVE CLAUSE and he wants to stay close to home because of the scary fans on other cities?

You guys made your bed, no you have to lay in it.

Babchuck is a UFA, Sarich cant skate. Giordano is a good player, but now also carries a big cap hit and a NO MOVE CLAUSE. At least Calgary leads the league in something.

What is really scary for Calgary is they have 7.25 million coming off the cap for expiring UFA's, but they already eat up 4.479 of that for contract extensions for Glencross and Giordano.

That leaves 2.77 mill to resign the likes of Tanguay, Morrison, Babchuk, never mind trying to improve the roster.

Best thing for Calgary to do? Get used to losing.
