Well we went to bruderheim, staged at a further distant area to avoid all the traffic and all. The trails are Ok, and its quite met and muddy especially in the skeg area. Guaranteed to get stuck there. There was also a lot of traffic, lots of people are taking up the nice weather to get the quad, dirt bike or UTV for a spin. The water was about knee deep but the banks were straight up ice about 8 - 10" thick. I broke through an area with just my weight and fell in to the water a bit. Right now that was the best place to cross. But another week of this nice weather those banks should be melted.

they are just enforcing the existing rules and trying to make the bad apples get insurance etc... as long as you are legal and stop when they ask you too you will be fine. do not ride the road there, it is a 230 buck fine. take the shortest and most direct route across the road.

plates need to be clearly displayed on the front or back of the quad. no storage boxes, not on a back pack and not on the side.

make sure to have your drivers licence on your person as well.

both of these offences are fines. dont know the amount but most seem to be over the $200 mark.
